A LITTLE ABOUT THE UP AND COMING HOME
Growing up we didn’t have much and with so many mouths to feed and one income it was hard for my mom to even consider spending the money we did have on decor but she would always find a way to put a little towards making our house a home. I would watch her thrift and sift through the clearance aisles in the stores till she found that one thing that caught her eye. When I became an adult and moved out on my own with my son I took that part of her with me. I didn’t have much but I knew I wanted a home for my son, not just a place to live. I think sometimes people underestimate the power of “home.” It’s not the physical structure you abide in but the people and memories created within those walls, that feeling of comfort and peace as you nestle under your sheets at night and you know your babies are safe just a few feet away. I treasure “home” and built a business around finding and creating homes for so many others. Helping them find and build a safe place for their families to call home.
